not saying Samurai Shodown is realistic compared to say games like UFC and Bushido Blade, but it tends to have more natural fighting than Street Fighter wannabes. 'combos' are commonly low in combination count.īut fighting games tend to exaggerate combos into being some unstoppable combination that get conscious characters caught in a vortex of juggles and taps, which is ridiculous. just watch boxing matches, kickboxing matches, etc. commonly the only time someone can really combo someone, is after they are TKOed or KOed, or whenever an opponent has really poor defense and fail to block/dodge/counter the next attack. realistically, in real fighting, there is often an opportunity to interrupt or break out of a combination of attacks, even after getting hit, and always windows to even trade hits. Samurai Shodown doesnt even need combos to be good.
